Colors of Puggles
As you can see below, Puggles come in all colors. The true Puggle, First generation (F1) puggle or more common color is fawn, tan or black when their mother is a beagle and the father is a pug. Beagles have an easier time giving birth but they too can also be subject to a C Section. Pug mother and Beagle father is also correct but Pug mothers tend to have more difficulty during birth due to their narrow hip structure and have issues helping their pups out of the amniotic sac because of their snub nose.
"A first generation true Puggle comes from a purebred beagle parent and a purebred pug parent ONLY. Generally all the pups in the litter will have the same "look". Their coat color and markings can vary but for the most part their physical characteristics are the same.
Second generation (F2) puggles are created when the mother and father are both Puggles. These Puggles generally have more mixed colors, such as black and white, brown and black, and brown and black and white.
There are some people who use what is called as poetic license that includes the Puggles. The Puggle is NOT part Chihuahua, Poodle or any other breed but a mix of purebred Pug and purebred Beagle only. A second generation Puggle is the result of breeding true Puggle to true Puggle and nothing else."
